God damn! Butter Pecan is the worse ice cream flavor on the planet. It is simply the most boring of flavors. It is soulless. Pecans arent even candied nor roasted. The vanilla is vanilla and the butter part of this recipe... well there is none. It should be vanilla with chopped pecans. What sucks more is that in my dummy head I thought it would be great to have in the freezer. Now it just sits there taking up space, staring at me.
Was there ever a time when this flavor was good. Does anyone do this well? I think 31 Flavors has a good version but i think there is caramel involved. This is a job for Benn & Jerry's they know how to upgrade flavors.
