I'm sitting at Spro Hamden watching the customers come and go. Coffee has always been a part of everyday life in America. For meetings, for drop byes, to get laid it is a tool for everything you do.
I used to drink my dad's coffee it was always creamy and sweet. That's how I learned to drink coffee. Now it's black. Well not all the time the burnt coffee at work has to be drowned in half and half and sweetner.
This place is packed. People off the street, couples spending time, business people talking about the ABCs and me. Coffee is the tool that greases societal wheels and for me it is the tool for observation. Coffee is like the spice melange from Dune. Without coffee the universe would stop.
