Pumped Up Kicks

I was listening to this song. Dark chasing trendoids because if those awesome trainers you pumped up for more lift and snuggier fit. How bizzaro to write a shoe song and all those jerks that owned them.

I wish a cool southern alt country rock band would write a song about the J. Crew barn jacket from my college days. I don't want it to be as dark as the foster the people song. Maybe more about losing love and getting drunk. The barn jacket was the coolest of cool jackets. I hate to say it but I know people were jealous of it and thusly me when I was in it. Ha ha ha ha. Anywho...I guess right now it would have to be kings of Leon to write and perform it because uncle tupelo will never come back together.

The song could touch on concepts like placing the jacket around someone you love, finding them with someone else; wearing said jacket when you weee sad; finally getting fall down drunk as you wear your jacket. Brilliant!
