I just came back from Indian food dinner and I have decided that the month of May will be meatless.
No McNuggets, no fake loco moco, no Woodberry tavern steak and no bacon. It's going to be tough but this arbitrary rule should be fun.
I use these rules to make me try different things. For example, when I eat out I cannot order what I usually get. At Indian restaurants i get (insert protein) tikka masala so now i order something different tonight i had a novarattum korma or mixed veggies. It was delicate and weirdly filling. The spices were spot on, spicy and creamy.
Being Indian full is always satisfying. Its not sushi full which feels gluttonous, or chinese full which is wanting, or steak dinner full which is painful.

Really, no meat?
I haven't had a donut in 8 days... EIGHT DAYS. Actually, I haven't had any processed sugar in 8 days. It's a little odd, actually.
I didn't eat meat there for a while. Well, I never really gave up bacon.
