I just bought a green flannel shirt and I think it maybe the biggest mistake of 2010 and Swell/Esquire/GQ/and Chazzwazzer made me do it.
I'm not a flannel shirt guy. I guess I had flannel at university but it was the lumberjack kind not the grunge kind. So why did I buy a 2010 flannel? Im not cool and hip. I mean big guys should not wear flannel...purchasing this shirt was like buying a stripped shirt a few years ago trendy and awful. But here I am buying flannel, what makes this worse, sad even, was when i was looking for flannel I actually went to Brooks Brothers first. Go ahead and laugh ridiculous I know. I ended up at Swell because I get 3 miles for every dollar purchase and bam the internet tubes produces a green flannel.
Im writing this because it is a blow to the psyche. I want to be an individual but mass marketing easily Jedi mind tricked me the worst of the feeble minded. I don't know why I'm alarmed by this I get tricked by product placement in the grocery store. Here is a deep thought maybe by blending in more I have the anonymity which leads to freedom that allows me to be me.
You know what as I write and think Im just trying to get her to notice me in my new green flannel shirt.

I love flannel. It looks nice with a sweater over it. The colorful collar sticking out over a nice fuzzy sweater is the way to go. Unless it's a super thick fuzzy flannel.
What a weird word "flannel". Flannel rules. It makes you look manly, yet relaxed. You should wear a snuggie over it, then throw on a baja. Slip on some unlaced brown work boots with red striped sox. Then add really tight dark jeans with a rip over a knee. Cruise around while eating a bento box of sashimi. Guarantee chicks will notice you. But you may not get the results you want.
I hated bajas.
like like like.
it's posts like this that make me thankful you're in the blogosphere.
rock the flannel.
Dude. You can't write a post about your new green flannel shirt without attaching a pic. Please send pic.
Oh God, subscribe to BRITISH GQ - please!
BTW, I love ties. Ties, ties, ties! I just love them with a nice Ike Behar shirt. Sometimes I think it's a shame that my company doesn't require suits...
