This weekend A&P were in town from La La Land so needless to say there was going to be food. What i enjoy and have angst over is the lack of order. It is more like food is being made and as soon as it is served the dish is attacked. There really isn't any holding back. Plates are handed out utensils engaged and bam. I appreciate the fact that in the dining enthusiasm everyone gets a good share.
Over the weekend...a nice french chicken, 4 tasty baguettes, salad Provençal ala vallar, artichoke crab dip, frites, wings, chocolate and white chocolate chip cookies, ribs, sirloin, brisket, mac and cheese and rice. Rhyme or reason is over rated a true taste of America is better. Also, a quick pan sauce rules by the way. Deglaze with wine, onions and garlic and some rosemary. fucking amazing.
It is clear that the only room that matters is the kitchen.
