Why did Stallone beat Scott Pilgrim?
Stallone's movie was an 80's action movie, big explosions and people dying bloody deaths and you go back for the girl.
Pilgrim was a slacker hero fighting for the girl he loves.
Maybe most people relate to Stallone...Most people have huge muscles, can kill a person with their bare hands and fight injustice wherever it rises.
Who relates to Scott Pilgrim? No one relates to pining over someone or having to deal with exes.
The Scott Pilgrim movie was too geeky for people.
