Baltimore Bomb Pie

This is the Baltimore Bomb aka Berger Cookie Pie from Dangerously Delicious Pies.

Great flaky crust with mashed in Berger Cookies for me it lost something in the translation. It is chocolatey, but the cookie portion seemed mushy. I like the denseness of the original Berger cookie. That dense quality helps limit one;s cookie in-take forcing you to savor the cookie treat. Without the denseness I felt like I could eat a whole pie.

Is the pie awesome? Why yes it is.

Does it trounce the original Berger Cookie? Well no it does not.
