Save Newspapers Save Freedom

We keep losing newspapers.  I cant stand it.  I feel like everyone is willing to give up individual thought for what..i don't know...a shot of news...a chance to destroy progress and to make the world a better place.  Newspapers had journalists whose job was to report the truth and to keep government and businesses and each other honest.  They wrote about government and business...they investigated everything and journalist would shred ideas and pronouncements if they were bullshit...Journalist would shed light.

We are losing individual thought because, now, everyone relies on tweets, facebook, emails, websites and cable news that is slanted and driven by manufacturing drama.  Bring back the truth.  Show us both sides.

The healthcare debate shows us what the future holds for our country.  It shows us that people no longer want to read and they are willing to let someone else dictate what to think, feel, believe, and rant.

People want to be free, to do what ever they want, but they are unwilling to take the time to understand.  they are willing to let other people define their freedom and to define their choices.

Stop and think.  Decide for yourself.  Stop accepting what people say and question them.
