Skipping Out

I skipped out of work today.  I couldnt be there.  It was cold and wet outside so i jetted over to the movies.  When i got there i ran into an old friend, Mary Ann, she was cutting out of work to see "Blue Moon"...wait "harvest moon"...sorry "New Moon."

I went to see the Blindside.  i cried, i laughed, I felt inspired...but i kept looking around and was trying to figure out how many people were skipping out on work.

Are movies the number one skip day activity?  I think they are because when you skip you dont really plan anything in advance.  It is more like, my bed is to warm to go to work.  Im skipping!!!  Skip days i end up getting something fun like Tacklebox  or Et Voila for lunch and i hide the crackberry.

Now, we cant count days where you take off to run errands.  Thats doesn't count as skipping, those are personal days.

For example when I take  a personal day i end up running like 8 errands, laundry, dry cleaning, anything car related, styling products, license renewal etc.  Personal days is a lot like work,  way too much to do and i end up getting a quick lunch like Chipotle.  On personal day i take my blackberry and check it every few minutes.

On skip day, i try and talk to other single woman who are eating out.    Usually I smile and say hi and see what happens most times they just glare.....

ohh what i need is a iSkip app, when you skip the app pulls up something to do that you'd never think of.  You could shake it and a fun activity and place to eat will pop up for you to do!!  Awesome.
